28 & 29: Busy & Happy

Yesterday we hit the ground running and didnt stop until about 8pm. It was great! I really am happy when Im busy. My mother in law took care of Maggie for most if the day so I could have devoted time to Charlotte.
Kids Gone Wild bounce house from 10 to 11am...met a nice mom and son there. Then back to Winters Wood Park where we ran into lots of friends from the Treehouse so we stayed until 1230 then home for lunch, relax, a little tv time. Then back in the car with our swim gear and time for naptime...I parked at Alamo Creek Park and Chich slept for an hour...the played at the park then off to swim lessons. We stopped at Mc Donalds for a small fry and to check out the play structure. Then jumped in for her lesson. Art met us there and took Chicg home so I could swim masters for and hour. Then home by 730. Chich was asleep by 8...phew.
Today staying busy with school. The teacher said Chich had a good day today and her language is exploding! I am very glad she is talking more at school. She really makes big leaps in her progress. I think my direct interaction with her while keeping an emotional connection is really showing positive results!
Things are looking up!
My mother in law is leaving in June so now i am going to look for help on the weekends from a local teen. I am being very honest about my limits. I need help while Im alone with the kids...plus it benefits the kids with a happier mom and having fun with a baby sitter while i can work around the house. We'll see how it goes...the hardest part will be me not being a control freak!
