29 1/2: Cute tidbit

At swim lessons tonight Charlotte was so brave. I forget how young she is because of her big personality.  But she is only 2 years old. She did not want to be dunked by her teacher and she got really scared that we would make her. It happened yesterday to her without warning.  But she listened to me tell her she didn't have to and I talked her through calming down. That's when I realized how brave she has been. And her trust in me and our bond was the only thing that mattered.
After the lesson  I wrapped her up tight in her towel and carried her to the locker room. While getting dressed she starts talking to everyone around us. But my favorite part was she wanted to tell them all that she was wearing Mom's shirt. I forgot her sweatshirt so I gave her mine. She was so proud! And wanted to show everyone! I love this little girl so much, these little moments of...I'm not sure what...connection. I felt overwhelming love for her. This special little person. What a gift she is.
