Parenting is holding steady right now. Summer is upon us, and I love it! Hot weather, swimming, flip flops, more daylight, avocado tomato salads...and SUMMER SCHOOL!
Charlotte was only going to Tree House four hours a week. Now in the summer its fifteen! Three hours a day and she loves it! And I love it! She plays with friends and does projects and doesnt have to listen to me or compete with Maggie. It is awesome! Breaks are really important for me and for her.
Her language is improving everday. I think just being around kids is helping.
She is still a willful kid. She actually though listens to me the best. I think because Im MOM. I mean she still ignores me alot with just unimportant things. But with discipline or getting her to do something she refuses to do, she will do it almost immediately when I step in.
I dont want to jinx myself so Ill just say good so far.
Halina leaves in two weeks! Yikes!
Charlotte turns three next Friday! She is growing fast! I love her so much and she is a joyful playful kid. I cant ask for more. Life is good.
Maggie is going to have some major changes this year. Im looking forward to her becoming a little girl and talking. She was using my phone to babble into tonight using different tones of voice for her "conversation". So cute!
For me parenting really is about consistency. I dedicate myself to the schedule and plans and execute.
Gotta get rest for tomorrow!
